Basaksehir and PSG players discontinues match amid “racist” chant from a match official.

Istanbul Basaksehir and Paris Saint-Germain players  walked off the pitch on Tuesday,in champions league clash after the fourth official was accused of” racist” language.

 

The Turkish club assistant coach Pierre Webo, having been sent off midway through the first half, expressed his frustration, when a fourth Sebastian Coltescu.

The Cameroonian international had to be pulled away from the pitch could be heard yelling “Why did you say n****?” with the support of Istanbul officials and players at the bench.

Former Chelsea forward Demba Ba could be heard in a video speaking to the official on the touchline, saying: ‘You never say: “This white guy”. You say: “This guy”.

After which he lead the Istanbul players down the tunnel and PSG players in act of Solidarity joined the Turkish side to leave the pitch.

The game was scheduled to continue an hour later, but only PSG players were seen warming up while Istanbul players refused to turn up.

It is not yet known if Istanbul players will conclude the match or forfeit it as they are have been knocked out of the competition.
