Inter Milan are open to sale of Christian Eriksen as Conte plans mass exit of players.
Inter Milan are open to summer sales of a number of players (11) and midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly on the list according to reports from Italy.
Eriksen only joined Inter in January transfer window for €18m from Tottenham hotspurs. Since his arrival, the Dane has struggled for form netting only 6 goals in 16 appearances for the Nerazzurri’s a.
Conte is knee to reinforce his squad for next season and according to the Sport, Mediaset Inter are willing to listen to offer of €55 m for the 28-year-old.
Inter coach Antone Conte recently confirmed about the dip in form of the former Spurs man, urging him not to leave up to his expectation.
He said: “He [Erisken] has to hold down certain levels, but balance is needed.
“He is improving, and he’s aware that he joined an ambitious club that is asking a lot of him.
“Expectations are high in Italy. The bigger the name you are, the more people expect from you.
“He is committed and doing well, but I have to make decisions for the good of Inter.”
Eriksen has four years left in his current contract with the Serie A side. He will be focused on finishing as high on the table as he can with his teammates with the title having eluded them this season.
