Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta says it has been a pleasure helping Kieran Tierney adapt to life at the Emirates.

The 23 -year-old moved to Arsenal from Celtic last summer but his first playing season at the Emirates was filled with injuries.

He suffered a dislocated shoulder and could not feature under Arteta until the restart of the season primarily due to the coronavirus impact and has been on top form since then, playing as either a wing-back or as the left-sided centre back in a three man defence.

Tierney is looked to start in at the London Derby in Tottenham as the Gunners look to stay ahead of their competition and keep Hopes of their European qualifications on track.

Supporters have been heaping praises on the youngster, and Arteta revealed that the defender’s approach have made it easy to adapt to English football.

“I am very impressed with,h, him” said Arteta.
“Just how he was acting and working on his rehab. Everybody loves him at the club, and it is not a coincidence that he earns that every single day, the way he treats people, the way he walks around the way, the energy he brings to the place.

“Then, with his performance, I am delighted. He has adapted Really well. He is a player that gives you everything in every session and every game and the quality as well he is adding.

“You help him with pleasure because of what he brings, how Willing he is all the time to work, improve and give his maximum to the team.”
