Bellingham transfer: Manchester United have lost out to Dortmund in the signature of Jude Bellingham from Manchester City.

Borussia Dortmund have agreed to sign Birmingham’s midfielder Jude Bellingham on a five-year deal.

According to  BILD  Birmingham will receive a €23million (£20.7m) fee for their starlet, who has agreed on a five-year deal.

Borussia Dortmund managed to clinch the midfielder who just turned 17 last week despite stiff competition from Europe’s biggest clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern and notably Manchester united.

No deal has been agreed on the midfielder yet, but Dortmund are believed to secure the young talent from other clubs.
Bellingham did not sign a professional contract with the city but are believed to get an excess transfer fee of £21m.

Manchester United reportedly offered £30m for Bellingham back in January, so maybe provoked to see City allegedly accepting an offer below what they were willing to pay.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be disappointed to miss out on securing a deal for the talented youngster with united putting in all stops with former manager Sir Alex Ferguson to offer the youngster a tour at Manchester United training ground.
